Toric Contact LensesToric contact lenses
are designed to correct astigmatism. They are designed to comfortably
fit the unique shape of your eye. So you no longer have to put up
with wearing regular contact lenses that don't work as well, and
you're not restricted to wearing glasses. Toric contact
lenses are available as both soft and rigid lenses and
they contain both the powers for curing astigmatism and your general
shortsightedness or long-sightedness, as the case may be.
You will feel completely at ease with Toric contact lenses
as its design settles down perfectly on your eyeball. It stays in
place even when you look around anywhere. This is extremely important
as otherwise you will not have a clear vision due to the bifocal
lenses present here. The lower portion of these lenses is heavier
which allows it to sit perfectly and does not allow any rotation
at any time. Such lenses are of the same raw material as the other
contact lenses.
Toric contact lenses are of different categories
such as in different colors, with multiple powers, disposable or
replaceable ones, soft or rigid types, etc. A small variety of these
lenses is available in different colors and at the same time of
the disposable kind. However, the majority of the colored toric
lenses are of the non-disposable kind. Again, the bifocal lenses
here are non-disposable.
